Choosing a time and attendance system

Reliable attendance starts with a clear policy for shifts, breaks and exceptions.

Access control and workforce technology

Define the working day

Document shifts, overnight work, unpaid breaks, approved overtime and late arrival rules. Agree how missing clock events are corrected and who approves the correction.

Verify your payroll requirements

Confirm the export format with the payroll administrator. Run sample ordinary days, split shifts and missing clock-outs through a trial before using results in payroll.

Protect employee records

Limit access to personnel and attendance data. Confirm retention requirements, credential enrolment, backup and support with your organisation. Request a site assessment for terminals and connectivity.
